This special place of the Columbarium began with a method toward accomplishing a sacred place using the tools found in mother nature and the efforts of many parishioners. Some materials and methods used include: natural slate flooring with plant fossils, fantasy granite, assembled crucifix, axial relationships, candle light and stained glass.
Heavy Sandstone for the design of the reflecting bench was chosen to assist the viewer in feeling a sense of permanence and security.
